In Bangladesh there is a huge population of birds with 525 recorded species of birds and 350 of them are resident to Bangladesh. Some of the birds found in Bangladesh are the bull bull, the robin, hawks, owls, crows and kingfishers. Most of the birds that migrate form Bangladesh are ducks mainly.
In Bangladesh there are 200 recorded species of mammals but the most famous is the Royal Bengal Tiger from the Sunderbans. In the Sunderbans there are also the South Himalayan Black Bears and Malayan Black Bears. In Bangladesh Elephants are very important with one of them as the Buddha God Ginish.
